After earning his doctorate from Çukorova University and completing his specialist training, he studied further in all aspects of cosmetic, reconstructive surgery and microsurgery. He specializes in the treatment of burns. Dr. Gökhan holds Turkish Board certifications in Plastic Surgery and is a member of several specialist Societies in both Turkey and Europe.

Gökhan Özerdem, M.D. is a Board Certified, ISAPS and American Society of Plastic Surgeons member Aesthetic Plastic Surgeon. He is a highly disciplined individual who aims to stay at the forefront of development in cosmetic surgery, both in Turkey and internationally. He frequently participates in international conventions in an aim to continually maintain and improve his surgical results. He has visited in well-known surgery centres in the UK and Europe, alongside some of the most prominent plastic surgeons in his field.
